在台東開車，對向來車閃車頭燈，別以為故意挑釁，是幫你省荷苞，好意提醒前方有警察抓超速，是當地特有的風土民情。

今日出版的《聯合報》報導，「閃燈報訊在台東有30年歷史了」砂石車駕駛表示，在台東開車遇到有人閃燈，千萬不要「鐵齒」不甩，他多次曾在台九線上遇到對向車閃燈，過一會兒就看到警察抓超速。警方開玩笑說，抓到超速的車輛多是外縣市車輛，因為本地車都知道閃燈的意思。（陳亮諭／綜合報導）
