白宮證實 中情局長到過烏國

（路透華盛頓14日電）美國白宮今天警告，俄羅斯將因介入烏克蘭情勢而付出更大「代價」；並證實，美國中央情報局（CIA）局長布瑞南（John Brennan）上週末身在烏克蘭首都基輔。

白宮發言人卡尼告訴記者：「我們通常不談論中情局局長的出行消息，但有鑑於此次情況特殊，且俄羅斯對中情局提出了一些不實說法，我們可以證實，局長的歐洲之行到過基輔。」

媒體報導，俄國籲請美國，說明布瑞南在烏克蘭的任務。

卡尼說：「高層情報官員出訪是培養互利安全合作的標準手段，包括美、俄自後冷戰初期開始的情報合作在內。」

「美國與俄羅斯情報官員多年來也曾會面，如今若暗指美國與他國官員會面並未秉持相同精神，是荒謬之事。」

卡尼並說，美國政府對烏克蘭政府在因應俄國挑釁行動時有所節制，加以讚揚。中央社(翻譯)
