蜜棗正夯　警察半夜守果園

高雄市大社區是著名的牛奶蜜棗、黃金雪蜜棗產地，今年棗子價格上漲到每台斤最高200元，成為竊賊覬覦的目標，當地棗農擔心辛苦1整年的心血，在關鍵時刻被小偷「整碗端走」，紛紛夜宿果園，守護蜜棗。

轄區仁武分局得知棗農需求，特別規畫深夜護棗勤務，在棗園密集的大社路、嘉城路、和平路、保社甲路等路段及附近農地，加強巡邏警網的密度。

在大社區嘉誠農場種植蜜棗的果農鄭先生表示，因棗價攀升，近期連家族中的親友也總動員，分批進駐果園加強夜間守衛，「有警方協助，終於能安心睡覺，真的減輕不少壓力！」(王勇超／高雄報導）
