郭泓志救援被打爆、陳金鋒單場吞5K，兩名超級球星同日落難，不過郭泓志救援失4分，帶給獅隊更大的傷害，Lamigo桃猿6比5逆轉勝統一獅。

獅隊前8局攻下5分，8局結束5比2領先桃猿，「守護神」郭泓志9局上登板，領先3分的狀況交給小小郭，沒理由擔心，況且郭泓志也飆出154公里速球，但桃猿打擊群就是有本事打敗他。

關鍵的9局上，桃猿1出局後，代打林泓育、林智平、藍寅倫、余德龍連敲安打，先扳回1分，陳冠任獲保送，再擠回1分，5比4，戰情緊急，小小郭拚出全力、飆出154公里速球三振陳金鋒，但躲不過林智勝的大棒子，林智勝敲出安打，打回逆轉的2分，郭泓志中斷連續16場救援成功，而且吞敗投，本季戰績4敗17救援。單場失4分，是郭泓志在中職最慘的成績。

郭泓志送給陳金鋒的三振，是陳金鋒此戰的第5次三振，單場5次三振平中職紀錄，寫下個人生涯最難堪的紀錄。陳金鋒本季第2次先發扛四棒，連吃5K。
