讀賣巨人杉內俊哉12日完封阪神虎，不僅中止了阪神的8連勝，也寫下日本職棒史上最快速2000次三振的紀錄，此戰最後讀賣巨人5比0擊敗阪神。

杉內俊哉此戰投出完封勝，只被打出2支安打，三振5次、2次保送，贏得本季個人第7勝（3敗），也是第1場完封勝；值得一提的是杉內俊哉投1930.2局達成2000次三振紀錄，超越2011年石井一久的1967.2局，寫下新紀錄。

讀賣巨人1局下坂本勇人、長野久義連敲安打先攻下1分，6局下長野久義、村田修一、阿部慎之助連敲安打，攻得第2分，8局下先攻下1分，龜井善行再轟2分砲（本季第4轟），終場5比0勝阪神，橫濱DeNA以7比1擊敗養樂多。
