退休警官種芒果 體會農忙

〔自由時報記者王榮祥／高雄報導〕前鳳山警分局副分局長楊春長警界資歷長達四十一年，今年元月退休後，選擇返回故鄉屏東枋山照顧芒果園，結果退休生活反而比當警察還「芒」，但也讓他充分體驗農民的辛苦，以及靠天吃飯的無奈。

楊春長投身警界四十一年，大半時間都在原高縣，曾任職合併前鳳山分局刑事組長、縣刑大副大隊長，合併後任職鳳山警分局副分局長，今年元月退休。

因老家在枋山長期務農，楊春長警職期間常抽空返鄉幫忙，退休後遂嘗試擔任專職果農，近期適逢芒果季，讓他體驗到什麼叫農忙。

楊春長表示，雖對照顧果樹有些許經驗，但全職投入後才發覺面臨許多問題，還好家鄉果農、農會都很幫忙，不吝分享栽種經驗，協助他很快進入狀況。

楊春長說，農民真的很辛苦，靠天吃飯，期待大家多支持，多採購本土蔬果。
