愛地球：發情非洲象 掀翻犀牛

母犀牛為保護幼子，正面迎擊公象，遭公象衝撞翻倒在地。

六福村主題遊樂園動物景觀課課長呂學博說，非洲象是陸生哺乳動物中體形最大的，公非洲象到了交配季節，體內的睪酮素升高，牠們會變得神經質且極度暴躁，凡是擋在牠們面前的所有動物或東西，都會成為攻擊目標，當公非洲象發狂時連車子都可掀翻。

小犀牛因母親的犧牲，逃過死劫。

◎特徵：前額突起，背部傾斜，鼻端有兩個指狀突，雌、雄均有長獠牙
◎體形：肩高約3.4∼4.2公尺，體重約5∼11公噸
◎分布：非洲東部、中部、西部、西南部和東南部等地
