香港十一佔中　台灣跨海聲援

不滿中國全國人大常委會否決香港特首普選，香港「佔領中環」行動發起人戴耀廷在香港《蘋果日報》刊登的署名文章中指出，「在別人慶祝國家的大日子時，我們也會在中環擺下一場爭取香港民主的盛宴。」佔中另一名發起人朱耀明表示，已申請十月一日中國國慶當天在中環集會。
 
為了響應香港和平「佔中」爭取真普選，在台灣的港澳人士組成「港澳在台民主同盟」，將與台灣數十個團體，十月一日晚上6點在自由廣場舉行聲援晚會，除了替香港真普選發聲，也要讓更多台灣人了解香港所遭遇到的問題。
 
聲援團體包括台權會、台灣農村陣線、地球公民基金會、島國前進、基進側翼、勞工陣線、黑島青、綠色公民行動聯盟等。音樂人陳明章、大支、閃靈團長Doris、拷秋勤等也都會現身。（即時新聞中心／綜合報導）
