美國女童需要槍　「因怕喪屍、鯊魚和魔鬼」

美國亞利桑那州一名9歲女童，日前在射擊場學習開槍時，意外擊中教練頭部，造成教練死亡。這起事件引發外界對兒童使用槍械議題的高度關注。其實美國兒童擁有槍械並非新奇事，有女童更表示自己想買槍，是因為「怕喪屍、鯊魚及魔鬼」。

數據顯示，單是美國槍械公司Crickett，一年便會賣給4至10歲的兒童多達6萬枝槍械，旗下的「我的首支來福槍」系列更是專門針對兒童市場，最便宜的槍械只需150美元(約台幣4500元)，比買一台家用電玩還要便宜。

一些擁有槍械的兒童曾接受問卷調查，多名女童都表示是因為害怕喪屍及鯊魚，所以需要擁有槍械；也有女童說要用槍「對付」恐龍和魔鬼。雖然Crickett的官方網站強調，兒童在任何時間使用槍械都需要成人監督，但仍有意見認為這根本不足以阻止意外發生。（於慶中／綜合外電報導）
