長榮大學星光畢典　老師為學生洗腳

長榮大學今年適逢創校20周年，特別舉辦戶外場的「星光」畢業典禮，雖然台南下午開始斷續下起陣雨，但仍不減參加畢業典禮師生的熱情。

而「洗腳禮」是長榮大學每年畢業典禮的重頭戲，今年校方遵照傳統舉辦，由12名畢業生代表上台脫下鞋子，讓師長用毛巾沾水搓揉腳再擦乾，象徵謙卑服侍的精神，場面感人。
 
另外，長榮大學今年首次增設市長獎，由60歲的進修學士班學生梁靜儀獲獎，校方表示，梁靜儀原在美國擔任護士，多年前為照顧母親而返台定居，為充分利用時間而選擇就讀該校哲學宗教系，平時認真學習，成績優異，「活到老、學到老」的求學態度足以成為年輕學子的典範，因此得獎。（李恩慈／台南報導）
