誰怕三星S5！　M8銷量紅不讓

宏達電（2498）北美總裁Jason Mackenzie接受科技新聞網站cnet訪問時透露，M8開賣後3~4周買氣依舊強勁，這2周的銷售表現幾乎超越去年每1周的水準，顯示即使在三星電子（SAMSUNG）年度旗艦機GALAXY S5開賣後，消費者對M8興趣依然不減。

儘管宏達電至今未公布M8開賣以來的具體銷量，但Jason Mackenzie表示，自從M8開賣後，實際啟用量周周上揚，並透露，由英國資深男星蓋瑞歐德曼（Gary Oldman）代言的新1波M8廣告將在5月底或6月初播出。

cnet報導中指出，經歷hTC One去年評論一致叫好，但銷售卻慘淪三星S4手下敗將之後，這次推出M8又遇上S5上市，為避免去年慘痛歷史重演，宏達電顯然已有備而來，不但宣傳廣告一波接一波，還與美國電信營運商Sprint合作，獨家推出配有哈曼卡頓（Harman Kardon）頂級音響的特別版M8。

宏達電執行長周永明看好這次的合作有助推動M8銷量，並強調將繼續推動音效品質的改善，不過對於哈曼卡頓的軟體未來是否也會運用到宏達電較低端的手機，周永明不願置評。（賴宇萍／綜合外電報導）
