象隊新洋投賈羅拉加昨天開始隨隊，今天賽前也跟著球隊練球，預定這兩天進牛棚練投，「草總」謝長亨說：「如果狀況OK，最快下周三或周四安排他先發。」
 
目前象隊已有科龍及賈羅拉加2名洋投，球團目標是再找1名內野洋砲，但領隊陳正宏說：「對之前的羅培茲表現很不滿意，從羅培茲及義大李那瑞的例子來看，好的洋砲真的不太好找，是有鎖定的人選，但我們想要的，對方又未必有意願來。」
 
陳正宏表示，還是會繼續尋找洋砲，補內野戰力的不足，下半季為因應投手鄭凱文、林煜清可能被徵召去打亞運，才會改補洋投，雖然現在還少1名洋將，但年輕好手陳子豪、陳家駒表現都不錯，是球團期待的潛力股。(羅惠齡／台北報導)
