政府插手　美西碼頭勞資糾紛暫告落幕

經過長達9個月的協商之後，美國西岸碼頭勞資糾紛終於在美國勞工部長佩雷茲（Thomas Perez）的親自協調下暫時宣告落幕。

代表碼頭工人的國際碼頭及倉儲聯盟（International Longshore and Warehouse Union，ILWU）與代表資方的美國西岸海事協會（Pacific Maritime Association）終於達成暫時協議，雙方一致同意從周六晚間開始全面恢復港口作業。

白宮發表聲明指出，這項協議讓美國經濟、企業與工人都大大鬆了一口氣。

美西港口佔了美國海運量的一半以上，但受勞資勞資糾紛影響，港口運作大亂，造成長期嚴重壅塞，每天經濟損失估高達20億美元（633億元台幣）。（賴宇萍／綜合外電報導）
