諾貝爾獎得主控印度政府逼他辭大學校長

諾貝爾獎得主、國際知名的哈佛大學經濟學家森恩（Amartya Sen）20日控訴說，印度政府逼他辭去聲名卓著的「那爛陀大學」校長一職。

81歲的森恩20日在「印度快報」發表公開信指出，那爛陀大學董事會一致同意今年七月起讓他續任校長，給他第二個任期，但政府不同意，他認為莫迪政府想要他「終止」職務，「我寫這封信時心情沉重，因為恢復那爛陀大學的榮光是我終身的志業」。

去年印度國會大選競選期間，森恩經常批評莫迪，去年七月森恩對記者說：「身為印度公民，我不希望莫迪當總理，他在照顧弱勢方面做得不夠。」
