LED防爆燈具成長性看好

光電協進會（PIDA）表示，根據市調機構ElectroniCast統計，LED防爆燈具，2013年全球產值為1.51億美元，以年成長7.3％，該機構預測，全球LED防爆燈具產值至2020年可達2.48億美元的規模。

PIDA認為，為搶佔LED市場商機，台灣LED產業必需重點深耕幾項高潛力產品，強化產品區隔性以突破現有的發展格局。拓展高階LED照明市場可由提升至防爆燈等級著手，同時滿足照明、石化、化工、礦業、半導體、船舶、食品、製藥廠等對於電氣、粉塵易燃易爆特殊工作環境之安全與節能要求。

面對國際市場及中國大陸競爭的壓力，PIDA與台灣LED照明產業聯盟（TLLIA）合作，盼能匯集聯盟成員的力量，共同尋求台灣LED照明的下一個新興商機，有效提升台灣LED照明產業在國際的競爭力與影響力。
