加拿大再現狂牛症個案　4年來首例

加拿大再度出現狂牛症個案！艾伯塔省一頭肉牛，經證實感染了狂牛症，這是自2011年以來的第一起個案。

加拿大食品檢驗局(CFIA)發表聲明強調，染病肉牛沒有任何製成品流入市面，或成為動物飼料，相信不會對加拿大牛肉出口構成打擊。當局目前正在調查牛隻如何染病，並確認肉牛的年齡及成長記錄，集中調查肉牛一歲前進食何種飼料，盼能藉此查出染病途徑。

加拿大在2003年曾爆發多起狂牛症個案，令牛肉出口大受打擊，當時多國停止進口加國牛肉。（於慶中／綜合外電報導）
