毆打議員嫌犯全到案　稱不爽被按喇叭

嘉義市一分局追查涉嫌毆打嘉義市議員蔡榮豐的嫌犯，本月6日、10日先後將開車的林男（19歲）、蔡男（20歲）帶回偵辦，今天又將官男（23歲，有重利、組織犯罪等前科）、洪男（22歲）及黃姓少年拘提到案，全案宣告偵破，但5人的口徑一致都聲稱因為蔡榮豐證員向他們按喇叭致生不滿才跟車襲擊，警方對他們的供詞採保留態度，偵訊後依傷害、毀損、妨害自由等罪嫌移送法辦。
 
嘉義市議員蔡榮豐於2月1日深夜突遭多名男子持棍棒毆打四肢、身體，蔡逃進附近消防隊才倖免於難，送醫後沒有生命危險。
 
警方調閱路口監視器發現有輛可疑轎車從竹圍路、北興路、博愛路、文化路等一直跟到林森西路案發地點，先從車籍查到林男涉有重嫌，林男辯稱因為與蔡的轎車發生行車糾紛，事後才知道對方是議員，才將車輛丟棄埤潭，警方事後將車拖吊出來，並在車內起出1支球棒、2支鐵管以及手套等疑似作案工具。（李宗祐／嘉義報導）
