明星賽後關機甜瓜：很有可能

「甜瓜」Carmelo Anthony一直有傷在身，加上紐約尼克戰績疲軟，明星賽之後會關機休養嗎？他說：「可能性很高。」

Carmelo Anthony是球迷票選的東區先發球員，而且舉辦地就在紐約麥迪遜廣場花園，甜瓜表示一定會出賽，就算是只有幾分鐘也好。

「就算只能打幾分鐘、出去揮揮手也好，如果退賽會對不起球迷，他們投我是有原因的。所以至少要出席明星賽，表達對球迷的感謝之意。」

本季受到膝傷所苦，談到是否會在明星賽之後關機，甜瓜說：「很有可能、非常有可能，我要為未來而思考。我想要跟球隊的人好好談談，瞭解什麼事情是我該做的。」

如果Carmelo Anthony立即接受膝蓋手術，將不會影響到季末訓練，「如果要做什麼事情，我想要馬上就完成。我不想錯過季前訓練營，而且要一開始就在狀態之內。」

甜瓜本季出賽40場，平均24.2分6.6籃板3.1助攻，整體投籃命中率44.4%，略低於生涯平均45.5%。
