Monta Ellis轉戰達拉斯小牛後適應良好，現年28歲、合約還有兩年的他，24日宣告自己「生涯小牛」的決心。

「雖然一切在商言商，但同時我也得考慮到家人。」Ellis說：「我會和太太、小孩坐下來好好討論。」

Ellis的合約到明年結束，明年擁有球員選擇權，可以自行決定是否跳脫合約，不過他說：「不只兩年，我還希望我剩餘的生涯都能留在達拉斯小牛。」

「我的家人們都很喜愛這裡，老婆想回到學校繼續研讀法律，未來成為一名律師，而我也很樂意在這裡退休。」Ellis說。

「我愛這座城市，我喜歡它擁抱我的方式。」Ellis說：「在金州（勇士）的時候，球迷對我很好，他們百分百挺我，現在，這裡的球迷也一樣，所以我想給他們更多正面回饋。」
