兩岸挑戰泳渡台灣海峽 延期

兩岸14位游泳選手原訂16日自新竹接力泳渡台灣海峽至平潭，因氣候因素，主辦單位決定將活動延至18日。

中華台北成人游泳協會與中國游泳協會共同主辦的新竹-平潭兩岸接力泳渡台灣海峽活動，原訂16日舉行。

根據天氣預報，16日風速平均4至5級，陣風8級，海浪波高約1.5至2米。

主辦單位依據過去經驗，預期選手泳渡時會不斷被浪沖回，船上的選手們也會因風浪太大，船身搖晃劇烈嘔吐，無法以最佳身體狀態挑戰，選手們體力極限恐只能游到海峽中線。

尤其，考量選手們安全，主辦單位決定將活動延至18日舉行。
