住院花光盤纏　警買車票幫他回家

患有糖尿病等慢性疾病並領有重大傷病卡的48歲蘇姓男子得知中國醫藥大學附設院的醫生醫術了得，前天千里迢迢從桃園到台中看診，沒想到醫生認為他的身體狀況不佳，要求住院觀察，蘇姓男子只帶了2千多塊錢，卻不敢明說，住院兩天後就把身上現金花費一空，連吃飯都出問題，只好報警協助。
 
中市二分局永興派出所警員王聖元前往醫院了解，當場二話不說護送他到，還自掏腰包幫他買客運車票，又到超商去買些食物及水讓他果腹。蘇姓男子想到可以回家，高興地都快掉下涙來，感謝員警慷慨相助，在他最需要的幫助的伸出援手。
 
王聖元說，蘇姓男子在台中市人生地不熟，又拉不下臉向陌生人求助，能幫忙他回家，自己也覺得很開心。（蔡智明／台中報導）
