越南河內放棄2019亞運主辦權　台灣不接手

已經取得2019年亞洲運動會主辦城市的越南河內，昨天由總理阮晉勇在國家電視台上主動宣布，將確定放棄亞運主辦資格，他並表示，將會在未來的時機宣布為何放棄的原因，而台灣的體育署署長何卓飛則說：「舉辦亞運有一定的程序，現在接手會來不及，我們的目標還是鎖定在2023年的亞運。」
 
2012年11月8日，在澳門舉行的第31屆亞奧運理事會議上，由越南河內取得2019年亞運的主辦權，比賽為期16天，將會有35種運動項目，根據2009年決議，亞洲運動會原本4年舉辦一次，今年在南韓仁川，但2018年的亞運延後1年舉辦，並且固定在奧運會之前。
 
根據日本《朝日新聞》報導，由於舉辦亞運得投入大量資金，當時就粗估約要1.5億美元(約45億台幣)，這對於越南政府來說是很沈重的負擔，而目前傳出，將在2020年舉辦夏季奧運的日本東京，很有意願接手2019年亞運，當作東京奧運的暖身。(黎建忠／綜合報導)
