早產兒回娘家 屏基辦篩檢

〔自由時報記者羅欣貞／屏東報導〕屏縣遲緩兒有二千三百七十四人，但至今年二月止，遲緩兒早期療育服務個案卻只有七百九十四人，為推廣早期發現早期療育，屏東基督教醫院昨邀早產兒回娘家，並舉辦兒童發展篩檢活動。

屏基發現，去年兒童發展評估人數共四百零一人，以三歲以上居多，佔六十五‧一％，顯示家長常在孩子三歲以後才意識到發展落後的嚴重性，錯過零至三歲腦部可塑性最大的時期，昨與統一超商好鄰居文教基金會及台灣早產兒基金會合辦「兒童發展 ，OPEN起飛」早產兒回娘家暨兒童發展篩檢活動。

出生時只有五百六十公克的巴掌仙子小湘，在屏基新生兒加護病房住了四個月，如今兩歲九個月，活潑健康，完成所有篩檢關卡，最後由負責整體評估的王重元醫師蓋上過關印章。

昨天共七十三名小朋友參與篩檢，經過跳躍、投擲等粗動作，以及摺紙、畫圖形、堆積木等細動作及語言溝通等三項篩檢，發現有十三名小朋友需要接受更詳細的評估。
