台灣第一人！吳永盛進NCAA一級

19日才剛過18歲生日的台灣旅美小將吳永盛，近日確定接受加州州立大學沙加緬度分校（California State University，Sacramento）提供的籃球獎學金，成為寶島史上第一位加盟NCAA一級的球員。

吳永盛自台北市金華國中畢業後，赴美追逐籃球夢，在加州莫德斯托基督教學校（Modesto Christian School）表現出色，升高四的暑假已獲得不少大學注意。

在提供獎學金的兩所學校東華盛頓大學（Eastern Washington University）、沙加緬度州大之間，吳永盛選擇後者，不僅是台灣籃球史上第一位國中畢業就赴美的高中生，也成為第一位進軍NCAA一級名校的球員。

根據《聯合報》報導，吳永盛認為月初造訪沙加緬度時的經驗讓他留下好印象，「感覺他們對我比較真誠，我也對他們很有好感。」
