香港媒體報導，中共解放軍駐港部隊疑在香港大帽山山頂新建雷達設備。對此，包括香港特區政府和解放軍駐港部隊均表示涉及軍事機密，不便回應。

中國大陸華東地區一帶近來才因「高頻度演習活動」，導致上海、杭州、南京機場的航班都有所延誤或取消，大陸民航局要求相關航空公司在7月20日至8月15日間需減班25%。

正當外界關注這波演習是否針對東海地區情勢而來之際，駐港部隊興建雷達設施的消息，也引發大陸輿論關注。

大陸媒體今天引述香港東方日報的報導指出，香港大帽山山頂已有天文台天氣及民航處的兩個雷達設施，日前發現當地新建完成另一組雷達設備，懷疑是屬於解放軍駐港部隊所有。

報導指，這個新設施外人不能進入，設施內則有籃球場及兩、三層高的建築物，大廈內貼有疑為解放軍部隊的海報，走廊以簡體字書寫標示，而設施外未見有標示為軍事用地的告示牌。

香港明報引述特區政府發言人的談話指，根據香港基本法，北京當局負責管理特區防務，按「駐軍法」，港府應支持駐軍履行防務，但防務運作的內容涉及軍事機密，不便公布。(中央社)
