在印度東北的阿薩姆邦，現在正是經歷雨水短缺的乾旱時節。為了祈雨，當地的婦女們按照習俗，為青蛙舉行隆重的婚禮。

根據廣州日報報導，『青蛙王子』和『青蛙公主』盛裝打扮，在印度教祭師的主持下完成婚禮，最後乘坐用棕櫚葉子做成的筏子漂向遠方。
