在非洲西南部大草原上，有許多神秘的『仙女圈』，其形成原因已經困擾了科學家十餘年，至今沒有人可以合理解釋它們。

國際在線據澳大利亞新聞網報導，這些『仙女圈』就像人臉上的雀斑一樣。它們有的直徑僅數公尺，而大的『仙女圈』直徑超過20公尺。令人感到怪異的是，儘管『仙女圈』內部一點草也沒有，其周圍的草卻長得特別茂盛。

有人稱，『仙女圈』是地下白蟻聚居所致。這些白蟻蠶食草根，導致地面上的植被枯死。然而，沒有人可證明這種解釋。

另一種解釋是，這些『仙女圈』是『地下煙囪』的出口，來自地底深處的有毒氣體會從這裡冒出，但目前還無人發現這種氣體。此外，還有人稱這片草原擁有自我調節和補充資源的神奇能力。

到底『仙女圈』的成因是源自動物、礦物質還是——魔法，或是其他？目前沒有人能給出答案。科學家們研究15年至今，都沒有找到其形成的確切證據。
