填海造陸是許多香港人的驕傲，沒多久，維多利亞港上又將會有新的通道。汽車多­了一條道路，也許可以舒緩擁擠的香港交通，或者有利經濟發展­。但維港卻越填越窄了，對漁民­和水上人來說，更是生存環境受到破壞，直接影響生計。《城市日記》用錄像記錄兩名漁民­的生活，嘗試從們的視出發，坐在船上，看填海、看香港 。
