台灣燈會烏日主燈區今晚強強滾，今天下午3點起台鐵新烏日站逐漸湧入遊客，雖人潮眾多但還能消化，但晚間7點後，離場的遊客開始往出入站驗票口擠，卻因運輸容量趕不及，台鐵雖已加開班次仍無助益，大量遊客就擠在台鐵新烏日站二樓大廳，也創下該站設置以來做多人潮。
